Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the changes of serum inflammatory factors and hemodynamics and their clinical significance in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI). METHODS A total of 47 patients with ACI were selected as observation group which was divided into large-size group (n=13), moderate-size group (n=18) and small-size group (n=16) according to the clinical neurological deficit score of cerebral infarction. Meanwhile, another 45 healthy people undergoing physical examinations served as control group. The changes of levels of serum inflammatory factors and hemodynamic indexes in all groups were observed. RESULTS Compared with control group, observation group was markedly higher in the levels of interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), notably slower in the velocity and volume of carotid arterial blood of both sides, and prominently larger in peripheral resistance (P＜0.05). With the extending of cerebral infarction size, the levels of IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α and hs-CRP increased gradually, velocity and volume of arterial blood decreased gradually, and peripheral resistance increased accordingly, and there were significant differences among large-, moderate- and small-size group (P＜0.05 ). CONCLUSION There are abnormal fluctuation of levels of serum inflammatory factors and hemodynamic indexes in patients with ACI, and the changes are related with the infarction size. Therefore, dynamic monitoring of the changes of above indexes are beneficial to the evaluation of disease conditions and prognosis.
