Abstract:Objective To analyze the utilization of health services and their equity in Yinchuan, Ningxia, and to provide policy suggestions to promote the fairness of residents' health service utilization under different income levels. Methods A stratified random sampling method was used to survey residents in Yinchuan, 18 years of age and above, from household questionnaires. The frequency and composition ratio method is used to describe the general situation of residents surveyed. Using the two-week prevalence, the prevalence of chronic diseases, two-week visiting rate, hospitalization rate analysis of the utilization of residents' health services. Using the Concentration Index CI to Reflect the Equity of Health Services Utilization by Residents in Different Income Stages. Results The research survey showed that the overall prevalence of the surveyed residents was 14.27% for two weeks and the concentration index was -0.011 5, favoring low-income people. The prevalence of chronic diseases was 13.08%, and the concentration index was 0.0404, favoring high-income people. Residents visit two weeks rate was 12.49%, the concentration index was -0.0061, the absolute value of approximately 0, more fair. Resident's hospitalization rate was 9.71%, with a concentration index of -0.015, which tended to occur in low-income families. Conclusion The fairness of the use of sanitary clothing for residents with different income levels still needs improvement. It is recommended that the government and related departments strengthen health education and publicity, vigorously develop the economy, raise the economic ability of low-income groups, and issue a corresponding fee control policy.
