Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of malignant tumor deaths in residents of a chemical industry area and its impact on population life expectancy, and provide basis for formulating prevention and control strategies.METHODS According to the international disease classification method, the mortality of malignant tumors and the life-shortening of residents in the chemical park from 2008 to 2017 were analyzed using the data of the cause of death.RESULTS From 2008 to 2017, malignant tumors in chemical industry park residents were the second cause of death for the residents, accounting for 35.34% of all causes of death, mainly gastrointestinal cancers; the top five impact on residents’ life expectancy was lung cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, esophagus Cancer and colorectal cancer, with age, the impact of malignant tumors on life expectancy gradually increased; Male cancers have a higher impact on life expectancy than women. In the ten years, chemical park residents had the highest life-saving rate of 26.28‰ due to malignant tumors, and the life-threatening rate of major malignant tumors in men was higher than that of women. The highest life-threatening rate of cancer in malignant tumors was 4.91‰. CONCLUSION From 2008 to 2017, malignant tumors are the main cause of life expectancy in residents of chemical parks. Exploring effective and reliable prevention and control strategies to prevent and control the occurrence and development of malignant tumors are important for extending residents’ life expectancy and improving the quality of life of residents. significance.
