Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of ultrasound combined with acoustic palpation tissue imaging (vti) in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions. Methods A total of 242 breast lesions from 242 patients with breast tumor who underwent surgery from February 2016 to May 2018 were enrolled. Ultrasound and vti were performed before surgery. To analyze the boundary degree and vti classification of benign and malignant breast lesions in vti mode, and evaluate the value of ultrasound and combined vti in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions. RESULTS Of the 242 breast lesions, 174 were benign lesions (71.90%) and 68 were malignant lesions (28.10%). The borderline clarity and vti iv-v grade of breast malignant lesions were higher than those of benign breast lesions, which had significance (P＜0.05); the specificity and accuracy of ultrasound combined with vti in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions were higher than conventional ultrasound, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05); the sensitivity of ultrasound combined with vti in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions was higher than that of conventional ultrasound, but the difference was not statistically significant (P＞0.05). Conclusion Ultrasound combined with vti was more valuable in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions, which could effectively improve the accuracy and specificity of diagnosis. It was worthy of clinical promotion.
