Abstract:Objective To investigate the incidence of type 2 diabetes and its influencing factors in the adult population in Shanghai,and to provide a reference for the formulation of reasonable local prevention and control strategies.Methods The cluster sampling method was used to survey 3,200 natural populations in Shanghai area>18 years of age, mainly using questionnaires, physical examinations and laboratory tests. The number of patients with type 2 diabetes in the population was statistically surveyed, and related factors were analyzed.Results The survey results showed that among the 3,200 people, 200 had type 2 diabetes, and the prevalence was 6.25%. Urban residents, age, education, income level, married, obesity, waist circumference, body mass index, family history of diabetes, blood pressure level, blood lipid level, and physical activity were the main influencing factors of type 2 diabetes in Shanghai,P<0.05. Age, waist circumference, obesity, high blood pressure, high blood lipids, family history of diabetes, and exercise were the independent influencing factors of type 2 diabetes,P<0.05. Conclusion The prevalence of type 2 diabetes in the adult population in Shanghai is relatively high, and it is affected by many factors. It is also becoming younger. Therefore, it is urgent to take reasonable and effective interventions to effectively prevent and curb the high incidence of type 2 diabetes. Improve people's overall quality.
