Abstract:Licang district has established and improved a three-level prenatal screening management network with grass-roots community health service institutions as the bottom, district-level maternal and child health care institutions as the hub, and municipal prenatal diagnosis centers as technical support.Constantly strengthen the construction of the community network and give full play to the advantages of grass-roots communities in birth defects. Relying on basic public health services, starting with the establishment of mother and child health manuals,with health education and health promotion as a strong starting point, it will implement the publicity and notification of prenatal screening，the initial screening of high-risk groups，the supervision and screening during pregnancy and the follow-up of postpartum pregnancy outcomes.The combination of community basic public health services and birth defect screening services can effectively improve the awareness rate of prenatal screening, prenatal screening participation rate and prenatal diagnosis rate of pregnant women, and effectively reduce the occurrence of congenital defects.
