Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the epidemiological characteristics，clinical characteristics，and maternal and fetal outcomes of pregnant women with COVID-19 pneumonia diagnosed and suspected in Qiaokou District，Wuhan. METHODS Retrospective analysis of epidemiological，radiological features，treatment and maternal and fetal outcomes of 11 pregnant women with COVID-19 pneumonia and 8 suspected pregnant women with COVID-19 pneumonia occurred in in Qiao kou District，Wuhan city during Jan.1 to Mar，2020.The results were followed up to Mar.26，2020. RESULTS Eleven confirmed and 8 suspected patients were permanent residents of Wuhan. None of the patients developed severe COVID-19 pneumonia or died，as of Mar 26，2020. Seven live births were recorded in 11 pregnant women diagnosed with COVID-19 pneumonia. No neonatal asphyxia was observed in newborn babies. Among these 11 pregnant women with COVID-19 infection，onset of clinical symptoms occurred before delivery in 5 cases，on the day of delivery in 2 cases. In most cases，fever and a cough were the first symptoms experienced，and 1 patient also had diarrhea. One patient was asymptomatic。Of the newborns born to these mothers，6 were full-term infants and 1 were born Premature。Pregnant women and newborns have a good prognosis. Four of the newborns were tested for the nucleic acid of the COVID-19 pharyngeal test paper，all of which were negative，and two of them were found to have IgG (+) antibodies. One neonatal chest CT showed pulmonary infection .One of the suspected pregnant women with COVID-19 underwent drug abortion at 6W gestation，and the remaining 7 pregnant women were delivered by cesarean section at term，with good prognosis for pregnant women and newborns. CONCLUSION The results of this district study found good maternal and fetal outcomes in pregnant women with COVID-19 who were actively assessed and diagnosed and treated in a timely manner，and the maternal and fetal outcomes can be satisfactory.
