Abstract:Abstract OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical efficacy of the three steps and nine methods of neck consolidation combined with the addition and subtraction of Shengyu soup in the treatment of cervical spondylosis. METHOD 60 patients with cervical spondylosis admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to December 2019 were selected and randomly divided into the combination group and the conventional group，30 cases in each group. The combination group was treated with three-step nine method of neck consolidation combined with the addition and subtraction of Shengyu Decoction，while the conventional group was treated with traction therapy and oral treatment with Daphne and methyl cobalamin. The treatment course was 12 weeks. The changes of visual analogue scale(VAS)，Neck Dysfunction Index(NDI) and JOA score (JOA) were observed before and after treatment. RESULTS The scores of visual analogue scale(VAS) and cervical spinal dysfunction index(NDI) in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group at 2，4 and 12 weeks after treatment，and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05); the JOA score was significantly higher than that of the conventional group，and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). CONCLUSION The treatment of three steps and nine methods combined with the addition and subtraction of Shengyu soup can effectively improve the function and pain symptoms of cervical vertebra in patients with cervical spondylosis.
