Abstract:OBJECTIVE Research the distribution of oral medical treatment resources in Fuzhou，evaluated the status quo of oral medical treatment resources in Fuzhou. MRTHODS Take site survey and questionnaire survey to the Stomatological institution in districts and counties under the jurisdiction of Fuzhou city, analyze comparison the results of the survey.RESULTS There are 103 stomatological institutions registered in the health administration department in Fuzhou, the average number of stomatological institutions is the most is in the jurisdiction area, have 23, medical institutions are mostly private. Oral health care staff of 447 people in all, the number of medical staff under the jurisdiction are largest, account for 51.23% of the oral medical staff. Each 100 thousand population have 8.21 dentists in Fuzhou, the average service area of each doctor is 58.56 square kilometers, each dentists should service in the average of 7 675 people and 14.97 square kilometers in the jurisdiction area, however in the jurisdiction of poor area each dentists should service in the average of 20 757.14 people and 143.32 km2, regional differences are greater. The qualifications and professional titles of oral health care staff are generally low, the number of junior college degree and dental practice assistant are the largest in dentists, in dental nurse the number of Secondary specialized school education are the largest, the learning situation of oral continuing education is poor. The equipment in some oral medical institutions are not perfect, lack of routine instrument and equipment in oral diagnosis andtreatment.CONCLUSION The distribution of oral medical resources in Fuzhou is unreasonable, exist regional differences, lack of oral human resources, oral medical equipment needs to be improved.
