Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the current situation of Pediatric Medical Association in Shanghai, and analyze the problems faced, so as to provide reference for the improvement of Pediatric Medical Association in Shanghai. METHODS Through the comparative analysis, combined with the characteristics of supply and demand of pediatric medical care in Shanghai, we aim to find the deficiency of pediatric medical consortium which should be strengthened. RESULTS The operation framework of Shanghai pediatric medical association was basically formed, and the two-way referral and the capacity of primary health care service had been improved tosome extent, but the consortium was still close, and the role need further deepen. SUGGESTION It is an effective way to promote Pediatric Medical Association in Shanghai by improving the capacity of primary health care service, clearly defining the location of different medical institutions, improving the salary incentive mechanism, and playing the role of information resources.
