Abstract:OBJECTIVE To explore the framework of the integrated system of medical care suitable for China based on the combination of medical care and existing contradictions in China. METHODS The basic elements of the current medical integration system were organized by literature review. Intention survey and focus group interviews were conducted to understand the degree of recognition of the constructed medical care combined service model framework in the sample area, and focus on the evaluation and existing problems of signing cooperation with the built-in aged care homes/medical institutions and community health service centers. RESULTS Establishing a long-term care service system, perfecting the long-term care insurance system, and improving the orderly connection with the aged service relationship was the key to establish a service model for the medical integration system. The recognition rate of this model for aged care institutions was 76%. Strengthening the service willingness and enthusiasm of various supplier organizations in the service system was an important supporting condition for the implementation of the ideal model. CONCLUSION Long-term care, long-term care insurance and orderly connection of the medical service system were the keys to establish a framework for integrated medical service model. The construction direction should focus on the service provider, including the sufficiency of the supplier’s manpower and the supplier’ willingness, enthusiasm, and legal compliance.
