Abstract:OBJECTIVE To establish a WeChat group for the early pregnant women after school health education in the community health service center(CHS), and accompany them during pregnancy, observe the effect and feedback, for laying a foundation to deep the community maternity care work. METHODS It chose the pregnant women finished health education in the CHS pregnant women school in Shanghai Pudong New Area between January 2018 and May 2018, invited them to join in the WeChat group established by the community doctors voluntarily. The doctor accompanied them and regular follow-up during pregnancy relying on the WeChat group. Questionnaires were distributed in the middle and late pregnancy to understand their health problem and need. The benefits and feelings of in the WeChat group managed by community doctors. RESULTS The pregnancy women in urban community were go-getters, high position and high income, and at the same time they were age, under high pressure, and have several health risk factors. In the period of pregnancy, morning sickness, poor quality of sleep and moodiness were common health problems and issues. Accompaniment and sharing could help alleviate these health problems. Community pregnant women school and the WeChat group established in the this study were the main resources and channels to get companion and sharing. What was more, it needed to establish the supply system as soon as possible to satisfy the health needs of pregnant women in community. CONCLUSION Community maternity care work needed to take advantage of community resources and use the offline community pregnant women school and online WeChat, provide a practical solution to the problem of pregnancy health basing on understanding of the demand of women during pregnancy, enhance the level of community health of women during pregnancy and improve the quality of the whole community population health.
