Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the rationality of the hospice care services currently carried out by community health center, so that to provide suggestions for the optimization of institutional hospice care services. METHODS During the pe⁃ riod from January to November 2018, the Jing’an Temple Street Community Health Center in Jing’an District of Shang⁃ hai was chosen as the research object, whose hospice care services’rationality were analyzed with the method of Group meetings, institutional research, expert consultation, etc. in which hospice care services were assessed with 4 mandatory principles to first, and services meeting 4 mandatory principles were carried on the rationality calculation with 5 non-mandatory principles. RESULTS 142 items of hospice care service met 4 mandatory principles, and 118 items did not meet the mandatory principle. The results of 142 items’rationality calculation showed that, there were 37 items with a reasonableness score of less than 1, and all other scores were 1. CONCLUSION The needs of the demand side and in line with the hospice concept were the premise for the expansion of the scope of hospice care services; the availability of clinical guidelines and the demand factor had become the key to affecting the rationality of hospice care services
