Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect and safety of transparent cap-assisted gastroscopic esophageal foreign body extraction.Methods Ninety-four patients with esophageal foreign bodies who were admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to February 2019 were randomly divided into two groups, 47 cases each.The control group underwent routine electronic gastroscope extraction, and the study group underwent transparent cap-assisted gastroscopic esophageal foreign body removal.The time of taking the two groups, the success rate of foreign body removal, the rate of mucosal injury, the clarity of the visual field, the patient's tolerance and complications were compared.Results The time of removal of foreign body in the study group was (8.29±3.38) min, which was shorter than that of the control group (15.15±4.68) min. The difference was statistically significant . The success rate of foreign body removal in the study group was 97.87% high. In the control group, 82.98%, the mucosal injury rate was 19.15% lower than that of the control group (38.30%), and the difference was statistically significant . The visual field clarity of the study group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ; the excellent and good rate of tolerance in the study group was 82.98%, which was higher than that in the control group (57.45%). The difference was statistically significant . The incidence of oozing in the study group was 4.26% lower than that in the control group (17.02%). Statistical significance ; there was no significant difference in the incidence of perforation between the two groups .Conclusion Transparent cap assisted gastroscopic esophageal foreign body removal has a high visual field definition, which can effectively shorten the operation time of the object, improve the patient's tolerance, reduce the damage of the esophageal mucosa, reduce the occurrence of oozing, and have higher safety.
