Abstract:Abstract: OBJECTIVE Understand the prevalence and trend of physical detection among primary school students in Chengbei Street of Jinhua, and provide a basis for schools and relevant departments to formulate interventions and common disease prevention and control countermeasures. METHODS The health examination data of 17 807 primary school students in Chengbei Subdistrict of Jinhua from 2017 to 2021 were collected, and grouped by different grades and genders. SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis, χ 2 test was used for rate comparison, and trend analysis was using trending χ 2 test. The K-W H rank sum test was used for grade data analysis. RESULTS The detection rates of growth retardation, abnormal pulse, abnormal lung capacity, high myopia and obesity in primary school students in Jinhua were 0.52%, 7.01%, 9.04%, 22.22% and 10.74%, respectively. The detection rate of ab⁃ normal spirometry in girls was higher than that in boys ( χ 2 ＝695.727, P＜0.01). The nutritional level of boys was higher than that of girls (H＝191.080, P＜0.01), and the degree of myopia of girls was higher than that of boys (H＝19.716, P＜0.01). The detection rate of abnormal lung capacity in elementary school students and the detection rate of obesity in boys increased with grade, and the detection rate of obesity decreased with the increase of grade. CONCLUSION Schools and relevant departments should focus on ab⁃ normal lung capacity of girls, overweight and obesity of boys, especially mild and severe myopia in primary school students in grade 3 and above, and take corresponding prevention and treatment measures in a timely manner according to the academic pressure of students of different grades to improve the overall health quality of primary school students
