Abstract:OBJECTIVE To explore related factors influencing the results of treadmill exercise test (TET) in diagnosis of coronary heart disease. METHODS 321 cases of patients underwent TET and coronary angiography (CAG) examinations in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. CAG results as the gold standard, and combined with clinical data of patients, the factors that may affect the outcome of TET were analyzed by using single factor and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. RESULTS Of 321 cases of patients, there was positive in 182 cases and negative in 139 cases by CAG detection, and true positive in 147 cases, false positive in 59 cases, true negative in 80 cases, false negative in 35 cases by TET test, with sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 80.77%, 57.55% and 70.72%, respectively, and false positive rate was 42.45%, and false negative rate was 19.23%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed gender, smoking and hypertension were independent factors of TET false positive (OR=1.453, 1.677, 2.231, P ＜0.05). The extent of coronary artery lesions and the number of lesions were independent factors of TET false negative (OR=2.375, 1.963, P ＜0.05). CONCLUSION Accuracy of TET results is mainly influenced by sex, smoking, hypertension, the degree of coronary lesions and the number of lesions. It should be paid attention in clinical and analyze combined with a variety of factors for comprehensive analysis .
