Abstract:OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of external fixed adjustable support and traditional Chinese medicine splint on the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, and to compare the curative effect of treatment of knee osteoarthritis with simple external fixation of knee joint. METHODS 120 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joint from February 2017 to March 2018 were randomly divided into the control group(n=60) and the treatment group(n=60). The control group was treated with the external fixation and adjustable support, while the treatment group was treated with the Chinese medicine splint on the basis of the control group. Treatment. The Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) scale was used to evaluate the two groups before treatment, 2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment. RESULTS The scores of each index of WOMAC in the two groups were related to the time of treatment. There was a significant difference between each time point(P<0.01). The score of each index of WOMAC in the two groups had a statistically significant difference(P<0.05). The treatment group level of IL-1, IL-6 and IL-8 was lower than in the control group (P<0.05).The two project can improve endothelial function (P<0.05), and the treatment group was better (P<0.05) .The satisfaction of treatment group was higher than in the control group (95.00%VS80.00%,P<0.05).CONCLUSION the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with external fixator and traditional Chinese medicine splint to treat osteoarthritis of the knee is more significant, and the symptoms are improved obviously.
