Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the current situation of the postpartum care center industry and the existing problems, find the existing problems of the current industry and provide suggestions for better standardizations of the cosmetic markets. METHODS Simple random sampling method was used to select 160 puerperants in 6 postpartum care centers from Guiyang. SPSS 20.0 was used to describe and analyze the data statistically. RESULTS In the field of accessing to postpartum care center information, the method was singleness and mainly used traditional ways. The differences of consumption recognition between the postpartum family income per capita and family members in postpartum care centers were statistically significant. Investigation results showed that 75.0% of puerperants were satisfied with their service, while only 25.0% of puerperants were dissatisfied with the quality of life, mainly in education of childbearing knowledge, psychology directed and infant care. 92.6% of puerperants believed that the postpartum care center should provide follow-up service. 94.1% of puerperants believed that the postpartum care center should establish friendly cooperative relations with hospitals. CONCLUSION The survey found that there were some problems such as the low service capacity of postpartum care center, homogenization of service content and neglect of postpartum psychological counseling. To promote the development of postpartum care center in Guizhou, it put forward a series of advice which enhanced the business level, promote variety of services, pay attention to psychological counseling, provide follow-up service and establish friendly cooperative relations with hospitals.
