Abstract:OBJECTIVE To investigation and analyze the referral compliance influencing factors of children and teenagers, improve the referral compliance of children and teenagers with visual abnormality and provide references of further improving the prevention and treatment model of Myopia on screening-referral-intervention. METHODS The children and teenagers with a referral for visual impair⁃ ment by screening of refractive development files were divided into non-follow-up group and follow-up group according to whether they went to the follow-up hospital after receiving the follow-up notice. Two groups of subjects were randomly selected to conduct a questionnaire survey by school, grade, class and gender, using of the Shanghai Juvenile refractive system. RESULTS The main factors affecting the compliance of the children and teenagers with visual abnormality in referral were the doctors’service attitude in dou⁃ ble-check the hospital, the follow-up time on notification of referral of the Community Hospital, and the students and parents’aware⁃ ness of visual abnormalities. CONCLUSION To carry out the follow-up work of children and teenagers with visual abnormalities in the future, health education of students and parents were worked better, more options were available for parents on review time and review hospital. The service specialty was further enhanced, and the service attitude was improved.
