Abstract:OBJECTIVE To explore the effect and value of “hospital kindergarten family” integrated management mode in preschool children’s eye care management. METHODS From May 2018 to July 2019, a total of 2 550 preschool children from kindergartens in Jiangmen were selected as the subjects of study. 2 kindergartens in urban areas and 2 hometown towns were selected as the observa⁃ tion group (1 212 children) to carry out the integrated management of“hospital kindergarten family”for eye care. Children in 4 kinder⁃ gartens (1 338 children) were selected as the control group. In the control group, routine health education was applied to observe chil⁃ dren’s abnormal refraction, vision, myopia, abnormal reexamination rate, and parents’awareness of vision prevention and control knowledge. RESULTS After intervention, the abnormal rate of vision and refraction in the observation group were 12.28% and 12.05%, which were significantly lower than the control group, the reexamination rate of abnormal children was 86.67%, which was significant⁃ ly higher than the control group(P＜0.05); the score of parents’visual control knowledge in the observation group was(95.5 ± 2.4), which was higher than the control group (78.5 ± 2.2) (P＜0.05). CONCLUSION The application of “hospital kindergarten family” in⁃ tegrated management mode in preschool children’s eye care management could effectively improve the quality of children’s eye care management, reduce the incidence of childrenn’ss poor vision and ametropia, and improve the prevention and treatment effect of chil⁃ dren’s eyes.
