Abstract:Using qualitative research methods，semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 diabetic patients in Guiyang. It had been deeply understood that the quality of life of diabetic patients had deteriorated physical condition，increased unhealthy emotions， impaired intimacy， and hindered career development. Health needed included self-improvement， medical improve⁃ ment，environmental improvement，and emotional support needs. In the future，medical staff needed to establish a working mecha⁃ nism oriented to the health needs of patients，pay attention to the physiological changes of patients，strengthen psychological coun⁃ seling，adjust the intimacy of patients，pay attention to the limitations of career development，help patients improve self-manage⁃ ment ability，improve medical conditions，and pay attention to improve the environment and pay attention to the emotional support needs of patients，so as to improve the quality of life of patients.
