Abstract:Abstract: OBJECTIVE To explore the practical effect of applying the full process quality control management model in the nursing quality management of disinfection supply rooms. METHODS Now, from June 2021 to June 2022, 40 staff members in the disinfection and supply room of our hospital who did not apply the full process quality control management model in nursing quality management were selected as the control group. From July 2022 to July 2023, 40 staff members who applied the full process quality control manage⁃ ment model were selected as the research group, and the nursing work quality and instrument processing quality of the two groups were observed. RESULTS Compared with the quality of work, the scores of device handling (94.42±2.50), service awareness (93.67±2.48), risk prevention (92.69±2.16), and environmental monitoring (95.06±2.24) in the study group were significantly higher than those in the con⁃ trol group (83.33±2.44), (84.65±2.39), (83.67±2.12), and (85.08±2.38), with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). The qualified rates of instrument cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, packaging, and distribution in the study group were 97.50%, 95.00%, 100.00%, and 97.50%, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (80.00%, 77.50%, 82.50%, 82.50%, respectively), with sta⁃ tistical significance (P＜0.05). CONCLUSION The disinfection supply room adopts a full process quality control management model to carry out nursing management, which can effectively improve the quality of department nursing work and equipment processing, and is worth promoting.
