Abstract:Abstract: OBJECTIVE To understand the quality of maternal and child basic public health services in Weifang from 2020 to 2024,to propose targeted policy recommendations,and to provide scientific support for maternal and child health institutions to improve their service levels.METHODS Relevant evaluation indicators for maternal and child basic public health service quality were selected, including:neonatal visit rate,system management rate for children under 3 years,health management rate for children under 7 years, early pregnancy detection rate,maternal health management rate,postpartum visit rate,vision impairment detection rate for children aged 0-6 years,stunting rate for children under 5 years,maternal mortality rate,and infant mortality rate.The TOPSIS method and the rank sum ratio(RSR)method were used to comprehensively evaluate the maternal and child basic public health services in 12 counties (cities/districts)of Weifang,Shandong Province.RESULTS The TOPSIS evaluation results showed that the maternal and child public health service level in Weifang from 2020 to 2024 exhibited a steady upward trend,with the highest level achieved in 2024.Both the RSR and TOPSIS methods indicated that County L(city/district)had the best maternal and child public health service level,while County H (city/district)had a relatively poor level.CONCLUSION The overall quality of maternal and child basic public health services in the 12 counties(cities/districts)of Weifang shows an improving trend.However,some indicators sillneed optimization.There is an imbalance in service levels across regions,and service issues in certain counties(cities/districts)urgently need to be addressed.
