Abstract:Abstract: OBJECTIVE To analyze the factors affecting smoking on the health of community residents in Zoucheng,evaluate the effectiveness of community tobacco control activities,and provide a scientific basis for formulating and adjusting tobacco control strategies. METHODS From 2020 to 2024,6,281 residents from 3 representative streets and 11 towns in Zoucheng were selected as survey subjects for questionnaire surveys.RESULTS The total smoking rate among residents aged 15-69in Zoucheng decreased from 23.02%in 2020 to 19.07%in 2024,showing a year-on-year downward trend and achieving the tobacco control target of the Healthy China 2030 Plan Outline ahead of schedule.There were statistically significant ifferences in smoking rates among different genders,ages,educational levels,and occupations(x²=1103.99,85.68,93.42,63.38;P<0.05),while no statistically significant differences were found among diferent income groups(x²=4.53,P>0.05).Men,the age group of 25-64 years,those with a high school/vocational high/technical secondary school education or below,farmers,workers,and other public institution personnel are the key groups to focus on in tobacco control interventions.CONCLUSION From 2020 to 2024,the smoking rate among community residents in Zoucheng showed a year- on-year downward trend and achieved the target ahead of schedule.Targeted efforts should be made for key groups in tobacco control interventions,further promoting the health promotion mechanism of“government-led,multi-department cooperation,and whole-society participation”strengthening the development of health education talent teams,creating high-quality health science popularization works, exploring various methods to disseminate core information on citizens'health literacy,and achieving continuous improvement in the health literacy level of residents and a sustained reduction in smoking rates across the city.
